I recently got the bug to start painting again! I have always loved creating art and have used different mediums to explore my talents. The past 10 or so years have been dedicated to photography and I have really enjoyed my time behind the lens. Photography will always be my #1 passion however I have been having a major itch to start painting again.
I was not sure where exactly to start so obviously I logged onto amazon.com. I decided on watercolor and ordered a color set, brushes and some paper and off I was.
I am most inspired by my french bulldog Sophie, so naturally I wanted to paint her first! Overall I am happy with how it turned out and that my "skills" are not lost. I plan on painting a bunch of things that inspire me and will post more paintings on this blog! I am just so happy that I have ANOTHER creative outlet unleashed!
